Here's how it all began ...

Spring is here!!

We took Lucy to the zoo today and she had a blast!



She went the entire morning without going potty in her pull-up, so we rewarded her with some ice cream!

Lucy-isms

I wanted to record a couple of cute things Lucy has said over the past couple of days before I forgot!

- After I finished changing her diaper she said "Good job change my diaper!"
- As she was getting off the phone with my dad she said "I love you, honey!"
- When we were eating dinner out with my parents, she looked at David and said "Be nice! I will spank your butt!" (I have no idea where she got that from! :))

She's just too much lately! We're enjoying every minute!

She's Two!

Lucy turned two last week so I thought I should update everyone on her stats. She's still pretty tall at 35.5" close to the 90th percentile and weighs about 27lbs which is about the 60th percentile.

The "paci fairy" also came last Monday night and took all the pacifiers, except for one Dad missed, that one got reclaimed on Friday. The paci's were taken in exchange for a new toy puppy that barks. She's pretty good about it now after enduring a couple long nights getting her to sleep.

Here's a picture from her birthday party on the 21st. I think she ingested a years worth of sugar that weekend :)

Do you like pepperoni?

Well she does, and she has a funny way of saying it. She just started this last week when we were making pizza and eating some of the pepperoni in the process.

Jesus Loves Me

Lucy likes to sing now, one day last month she surprised us by having mommy lay down in bed and she started singing Jesus Loves Me to her. We sing it to her at bed time every night. We didn't even know she knew the words, she got most of them at least. She knows the song pretty good now and also likes to sing Jingle Bells and Rock-a-Bye Baby.
